Doc’s Porter and Aegir’s Ale combine to resemble an English bitter beer, rich in flavor with a lingering finish.

Had on tap. Murky brown body with a cream colored cap, decent lacing. Smells like watery roasted malt, with amber earth tones kissed with toast caramel, no hops at all. Awful tasting dirty mop water with watery malt, nothing like a proper english bitter. Feel is watery, thin, has no complexion of interest to speak of. Just awful, one of the worst beers I have ever had from a "craft" brewer

Served from the tap in a small nonic glass at the brewpub.
No idea what the initialism stands for, but I also don't really feel like asking, y'know? Anyway, this stuff pours a clear sunrise amber-red topped by a finger of dirty white foam. The nose comprises mixed greens, light dried caramel, mild biscuit, and a bit of candied orange peel. The taste brings in more of the same, the combination of everything sort of molding the overall flavor into some sort of generic Taste(TM). The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a liquid feel. Overall, a decent enough little blend, though nothing I would likely order in the future.

This was listed by the brewpub as an English Bitter, and is a blend of Doc's Porter and Aegir's Ale. It was in no way similar to an English Bitter unfortunately. It was watery and sourish, similar to the component beers of the blend. The color was something like cola/dishwater. The aroma was strangely solventy/ammonia like and definitely seemed infected. The taste was bland and sour, and utterly forgettable. Back to the drawing board on this one.
