Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: UncleJimbo on 12-01-2013

Served in September 2012.American light lagers and Pilsners are easy to drink and refreshing. They are not, however, easy for a craft brewer to make – but we are always up for a challenge. Pilsner malt and flaked rice provide sweet cereal grain notes while German and Czech hops add spiciness and a balanced bitterness to the finish. Cold fermented and aged with a German lager yeast, the palate is clean with a snappy finish.

12 oz can. Undated.
Light pale color with a weak head.
Rather ordinary but veering off in the use of citrus -tinged hops.

12 oz. can poured into a snifter (Best By: 4/19/15)

A: Light, white wine color. Thick fluffy head. Lacing and puffy collar.
S: Airy with some fruity esters.
T: Lightest of pilsner flavors, not even all that hoppy, let alone flavorful.
M: Light carbonation.
O: Not good at all. I preferred SN's Hoppy Beer Camp Lager.

Poured from a 12 oz. can, and yes, that can was provided by the incredible woodychandler. Has a bright yellow color with a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, some malty sweetness. Taste is malt forward, some lemons, a bit of sweetness, no real hops to speak of. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Remain in Light has a thick, frothy, crackly, white head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, with heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of citrus, hop oils, white bread, and sweetness. Taste is of those elements, with noticeable, yet rather mild, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and a bit slick, and C.B.C. Remain in Light finishes crisp, clean, and refreshing.

A: poured into a pokal to a clear straw yellow with a dense two finger white head that fades quickly and leaves good lacing
S: smells of clean malts and spicy noble hops
T: taste is clean bready malts with a little sweetness and some nice noble hop presence with some spicyness and slight citrus. swallow is some honey like sweetness and a good bit of spicy hop flavors
M: fairly light in body without being watery and slightly prickly carbonation. the beer has a clean and refreshing finish.
O: this is a really good stab at the pale lager. much better than the macro offerings. no discernible flaws and a really nice flavor profile.
