A-Pours a hazy honeyed hue. Quite opaque. Head is a medium-sized mass of light foam. Leaves a ton of lacing; really paints the glass.

S-Ah! So this is what Ahtanum and Palisades smell like. Lighter nose of flowers and their stems. Spicy hoppiness too. A balanced nose complete with a rich, gooey sweet biscuit malt and animal crackers.

T-Interesting and quite refreshing. Honeysuckle hops with their bitter stems and even a bit of grass growing below said flowers. A lingering hop spice also complements the flowers, grass and soft apricots. The malt and ooey-gooey and sweetly breaded. I love the hop profile here, its far from intense but its incredibly memorable.

M-Lightly bitter and lightly bodied. Tickling carbonation. Very, very drinkable.

O/D-I loved this. One of the most unique hop profiles I have come across in quite some time. Definitely an East Coast IPA...I loved it. Not your average IPA but I was 'wowed' by Spring Training.

Cambridge Brewing Company - Spring Training IPA, poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Look - Pours a pale mostly clear straw amber with a massive foamy head that retains well. Tons of chunky lacing.

Smell - Aroma is yeasty thin with some fruity hops on top.

Taste - Taste is creamy malt with piney but metallic bitter hops after. Not overly metallic but still not a selling point here.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low carbonation. Sits super bitter pine. Not boozy. Good drinkability.

Overall - Not horrible, but not great. Wish it was juicy rather than piney. Seems unfinished or rushed. I like CBC in general but this one wasn't my favorite.

The aroma has huge citrus, orange peel, floral.

The flavor follows of that blend of orange peel, grapefruit, floral, a light bready malt, a medium light bitterness on the end.

A very competent IPA that tastes higher than its ABV with tons of flavor.

Poured from the bottle a clear gold color with one finger of white head.

Aroma of orange, lemon and sweet caramel malts.

The taste was fairly subdued hops-wise with just a hint of baby aspirin along with sweet caramel malts. Light bitter note lingers through the finish.

Medium bodied and somewhat dry with a moderate carbonation.

A decent IPA from CBC but not one I'd have again.

Bottle poured into a tulip glass, probably a bit old at this point. Beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of off white loose foam head. Head dissipates quickly, leaving some light lacing. Very effervescent, many tiny bubbles streaming up in lines along the edge of the glass.

Nose is pretty dank herbal and floral, ripe orange, caramel malt.

Taste is just a moderate dank herbal and floral hop, light citrus peel bitterness, mild yeast ester and caramel malt.

Light body and nicely effervescent. Unfortunately, the flavor is pretty mild.
