A - The Audacity of Hops pours into a chalice the color of ginger ale, with a thick 1.5 inch head.

S - Hops, fresh-hop aroma, grains, bready, grasses.

T - Some tangy/tart-ish hop flavors up front, finish with sweetish back...interesting combo; a nice balance of tart and sweet hops flavoring! YUM!

M - Medium-heavy, very effervescent, just chewy/sticky enough. Dry...nice.

O - Don't be turned away by the fact that this beer is technically brewed in a Belgian style. You will swear it's an all-American IPA or DIPA. Hop lovers will love it. Delicious brew!

AUDACIOUSLY had in a snifter. Bottled on 5/29/13.

Slightly hazy and light gold body, jets of carbonation are noticeable. A white cap that barely sits at pencil width, and does not cover the crown of the beer, sheet of lace left with every sip.

Yeast phenols apparent on the nose: more banana ester than clove. A general soapiness also butts up against the Belgian flare, must be from the hops. The malt is doughy and light, but noticeable. Just a hint of pine aroma as well.

Yeast comes through with the same level of banana esters with just a touch of clove, more sweet on the palate as well. There is a nice bitterness at play at the back of the throat that gives rise to pine and orange flavors. Truly nice finish, the combined finish produces a dreamsicle-like swallow. Much better than the nose!

Nice medium body and good creaminess. More on the dry end thanks to the hop bite on the swallow.

The flavor profile on this Belgian IPA really saved it for me. I was not really excited until I took my second or third sip; then I was hooked. The sweet phenolic flavors mix well with the hop profile presented. Seek this one out! Maybe try to find a fresher bottle than I did though.

On Tap at the brewery on 10-15-13

A - Pours a hazed gold color one finger of white head with some thin lacing
S - Big grape and orange juice, some dank pine, a touch of spice, some dank pine
T - Lots of grape and orange juice sweet mango, some caramel malt, definitely some alcohol, very sweet and ripe tropical flavors
M - Big cloying sweetness, big big feel, some alcohol burn.
O - Very good IPA, I dont see where the belgian part comes into play, but I did get a bomber, I'll re review later

Updated: 12-14-13 from Bomber

The aroma is STELLAR, lots of grape, some mango.
Taste has a lot more belgian punch that from my notes at the brewery, but is still good.
Mouthfeel is still lacking, you do get a strong spicy bitterness, and its kinda dry.
