Recently stumbled across my notes from The Festival 2012. Lets do this!
A - Poured a very dark early pitch black with a large, creamy two finger head that fades super slowly. Very nice start.
S - Aromas of dark, dark malts, light roast/coffee, caramel/toffee, light creamyness, dark bakers chocolate, and sour fruits.
T - Taste is just as good as the nose, super rich and creamy, sour fruit (cherry?) jumps to the four front intermingling nicely with dark bakers chocolate, oats, nibs, sour tart fruit. Wheres the ABV?
M - Mouthfeel is just awesome for the style. Rich, silky smooth yet with a flash of carbonation, hardly any of that 15%.
O - Overall a solid, solid beer. Really dig the dark fruits, sourness, and chocolate.
