12 oz short brown bottle with a label done Sierra Nevada style which is always nice! Snow Wit Ipa's chosen picture is quite nice. Poured into a standard American pint glass.
A - hazy yellow straw that absolutely glows in the light. Snow White head pours massive and graces the top of this body with style. Fluffy, and plump. Slow moving stick cakes to the walls of my pint glass. Yeast is present as there is some laying atop the massive head. Oh my! How I love Belgian inspired funk! Chunks of sediment floating near the bottom of this glass. Beautiful ale!
S - yum.. A little citrus and fruit up front. Orange and grapefruit with a touch of lemon. Belgian style yeast provides a nice funk to this aroma with Belgian spices and clove. Bready malt balances the nose very well.
T - much in line with the nose. Citrus and grapefruit hop notes, orange, lemon, soft ripe banana, clove spice, Belgian yeast and funk, bread malt. Just one right after the next in a nice smooth rhythm.
M - lower medium body and very drinkable. Nice texture and typical SN style thickness make this a very enjoyable ale. Mouthfeel was exactly what I'd look for in something like this.
O - a very nice offering from Sierra Nevada once again. Good enough to be in their regular rotation no doubt. But hey, most of their limited/variety pack stuff is good enough for that. One thing is for certain, this is a damn fine creation. Odd and different but extremely tasty. These guys never seem to lose a step when creating new bottlings.

This is about as high a rating you will ever see me give to a wheat beer. I hate them in general. This one is pretty good and I attribute the hops to this to give that rancid wheat beer taste some kick. It was light in color, but the hops were there and made for a well balanced brew. I got this in a mixed 12 pack. Apparently every store in my area is running amazing sales on Sierra Nevada right now, I guess awaiting the Beer Camp. Which, is an amazing idea, but so far I have not been overly impressed. I am giving it a true chance though. This one is good. And from me that's a bold statement. Not that I am an expert, but I generally hate wheat beers. So, take it as you will. Those who don't like wheat beers but IPA's give this a try, those who like wheat beers you may still get something out of this. Hell, it may get you out of your wheat beer challenged world into some big boy beers!
