Poured a honey orange hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of frothy white head. Lots of thick, foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Thick, layer of white retention with spots of orange on the top of the glass.
Smelled buttered peppery corn on the cob, popcorn, Belgian spices, pepper, cloves, orange, coriander, caramel, honey, kiwi, grapes and banana.
Tasted pretty close to the smell, although not quite as good. Got that weird buttery corn taste, like the smell. Also Belgian peppery spices, cloves, orange, coriander, banana, kiwi and grapes. More bitterness than I anticipated.
Medium body. Creamy-to-sticky texture. Lively carbonation. Spicy, abrupt finish.
This beer was a bit all over the place. My ratings could have gone a couple different ways, but I thought it was just OK overall.
