Pours a pale straw color with size able frothage. Aroma has some bright fruit notes accompanied by a bready, wheat smell. In the taste, pine and edible flowers amongst citrus and light spicy notes. Über refreshing and there is a nice noticeable hop impression that is very fresh and complimentary to the light wheat elements. Has a small dry clove and hop bite. Finishes clean. Medium bodied but crisp and easy drinking. Recommended ice cold, this really hits the spot. Of course, Sierra Nevada delivers with this white ipa. Much better than most in the style.

This is about as high a rating you will ever see me give to a wheat beer. I hate them in general. This one is pretty good and I attribute the hops to this to give that rancid wheat beer taste some kick. It was light in color, but the hops were there and made for a well balanced brew. I got this in a mixed 12 pack. Apparently every store in my area is running amazing sales on Sierra Nevada right now, I guess awaiting the Beer Camp. Which, is an amazing idea, but so far I have not been overly impressed. I am giving it a true chance though. This one is good. And from me that's a bold statement. Not that I am an expert, but I generally hate wheat beers. So, take it as you will. Those who don't like wheat beers but IPA's give this a try, those who like wheat beers you may still get something out of this. Hell, it may get you out of your wheat beer challenged world into some big boy beers!
