Snow wit pours a heavy, hazy sediment laden golden straw, almost like a wheat beer.
A tall white head forms fast during the pour. The head is dense and frothy and leaves spotty lacing around the glass. A nice color contrast.
The aroma was somewhat of a letdown being that those seven dwarf hops were subtle absent.
Some citrus hops could be pulled out, but I got more yeasty spice and esters malts and lemongrass.
Really not picking up much of those hops in the taste. It is flavorful none the less with yeast spices and fruity esters. A heavy malt backbone too. Corrinder and pepper give a rounded traditional wit taste.
The line between being under flavored and over flavored in the wit beer catagory must be extremely thin because all to often a white IPA with good intentions falls to the wit side muting all efforts.
