SN gets on the hoppy session beer bandwagon. This example from them is a medium-gold colored beer with a small but thick head, and nice streaming bubbles from the bottom of the glass. The aroma is disappointingly faint, with a very light touch of malt overlaid with hops, too light to get a sense of the variety. Fortunately, it's much better tasting, with nice bitterness and very citrusy hops, typical for SN. It's not just hops, though. The malt is better than many of the session IPAs I've had, though it is a tad grainy. Still, though it's light bodied, it's got a substantial non-watery feel to it that makes it satisfying to drink. This is a darn pleasant beer to put back several of.

A- pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a huge foamy and frothy white head that retains long after the pour, eventually leaving some nice lace behind

S- bready and doughy malt aromas mixed with fruity hops

T- slightly toasted malt up front with some fruity and piney hops, slightly tangy fruity kick on the finish with some piney hop linger

M- medium-light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy and frothy mouthfeel and a crisp dry finish

O- it's hard for me to distinguish the difference between session IPAs and pale ales most of the time, but it's impressive that they were able to pack this much hop bitterness into less than 5%

Poured from a bottle with a packaged on date of 5/5/14; into a pub glass.
Appearance - gold, tons of carbonation and a towering, bubbly white head! Lacing is fantastic!
Smell - some grass, citrus and pine. Tame, but noticeable.
Taste - lacks the flavor that I've come to expect from SN, however, very refreshing on a hot day.
Feel - initial sip has some hop bitterness, but the ho hum flavor and the light body drowns that out pretty quick.
Overall - love SN, but this is not what I expect from them.

Orange-gold in color with a rocky, stable, slightly off white head. This beer is very drinkable and great for summer. It has a lot of grapefruit, orange peel, flower-like scents. Slight malt and sugar smells. The taste is similar to the smell. Very drinkable, with less bitterness than I expected. Somewhat light. Refreshing and clean.
