12oz bottle into SN hop glass. Packaged 5/29/14.

A: Pours a clear pale straw color with a finger of soft, bright white head. The head faded into a fuzzy film that left streaks of lace down the glass.
S: The nose reminds me of jasmine tea. I get hoppy scents of tea, sweet tropical fruit, and bready pale malt.
T: More jasmine on the nose, with clean finish of pale and crisp bready malt. Very clean and delicious flavors. Hints of tropical fruit come through as well, and the finish has a note or two of bitter citrus.
M: Clean and crisp mouthfeel from a light body and chewy and smooth carbonation. Not watery, just clean and easy.
O: Really interesting jasmine flavors in this one that I have not encountered in a beer before. I loved it and would drink this often.

Serving Type - Bottle

Appearance - Straw yellow with a nice 3/4 inch foamy white head. Nice amount of sticky lacing.

Smell - Pilsner malts, light floral hops. Some lemon, a little grapefruit and piney aroma. Not overly strong.

Taste - Right on par with the smell, floral hops with a solid pilz backbone. Very smooth with ample amounts of lemon, peppery spices and mild sugars. Grapefruit along with some pine and bitterness comes out near the finish.

Mouthfeel - Tongue gets the hops and peppery spices. Palate gets a lot of bready malts, some more grassy notes and a little sugar. Aftertaste is lightly bitter, a little dry and bready malt.

Overall - Nice beer. Nothing to complicated, just a style done really well, that's smooth, low alcohol and easy to enjoy. I would have no problem buying this beer for the summertime when I want a little more kick then a pilsner, but not a ibu monster ipa.

A-Pours a clear, crisp yellow with a thick, fluffy head. Looks very true to style. Lots of lacing as well.

S-Appetizing, perfumey, floral hoppiness right off the bat. Oh, I now read that these are New Zealand hops... I friggin love New Zealand hops. Juicy, white grapey and white grapefruity hops. Honey and cracker malt.

T-Bitter, flower stem hop flavor. Grassy and slightly fruity hops as well. The hops are more complicated than I am making them seem. They 'hop torpedo'ed the shit out of the Pilsner...but it's still a Pilsner at heart. With dry lager yeast, cracker malt and light sweetness.

M-Bitter but refreshing. Lighter bodied. Quite bubbly. Very drinkable.

O-My first beer of the variety pack and this one was a hit with me. It's very hoppy but I still equate it to a Pilsner as opposed to the new, trendy India Pale Lager. Firestone nailed their Pivo Pils, so I shouldn't be surprised.

Had this on 2014-07-29 in Columbia, PA

A - Mildly hazy, straw color with a 1.5 finger white head and good lace.

S - Big lager yeast aroma. Lemon, grass, light malt, hop floral. Very aromatic. Smells quite inviting.

T - Bread/cracker, lemon, grass, herbal spice, pepper with some nice hop flavor and quite a bit of lingering hop bitterness. Reminds me of a cross between Sierra Nevada's Summerfest, Firestone Walker's Pivo Pils and Victory's Prima Pils. Delicious.

M - Light body and medium-high carbonation. Crisp. Refreshing. Thirst quenching.

O - A very well-done Pilsner. Would enjoy this anytime, anywhere.

A: 3 inches of light, white head. Pale yellow body. Good lacing and carbonation.

S: Bready malt and tart citrus. Not too deep on either.

T: Citrus and sweetness that quickly shifts to typical pilsner malt profile. Finishes with crisp and light, floral hoppiness. Refreshing and slightly bitter.

M: Easy drinker. Light and bubbly on tongue. Clean aftertaste.

O: Enjoyed this variation of a pils. Low expectations going in, but pleasantly surprise by the brew. I'd make it a regular pils/lager purchase.

Pours into a chalice with a pale golden body and a bright white head forming thick and effervescent foam, leaves behind intricate banded layers of lacing.

Aroma has the utmost dankest hops, citric pith, earthy herbal qualities from the massive hop additions which the neck band describes as “intense fruity and floral notes from fresh New Zealand hops”, they smell like the freshest German noble hops I’ve ever come across.

Flavor pungent mix of malts and hops, the bitterness weighs supreme in this big hoppy expressive pilsner style beer this is the type of beer I dream of when it comes to great pilsner style beers. Bready cracker malt character is light but hits hard, but not as hard as the Torpedo hopped “hop profile”. It’s intense with those fresh cut grass, citrus pith, earthy and herbal notes all day.

Mouthfeel is perfect for a pils, light bodied even but sturdy carbonation carrying this beer so well, that I can’t believe it’s as forthcoming as any great pilsner I’ve ever come across. Quite enjoyable on multiple levels.

Overall, the type of pilsner I can’t wait to seek out again and again especially when it comes to over hopped light lagers like this is impressive beer brewed in Chico, CA by Sierra Nevada Brewing collaborating with Firestone Walker!!!
