12oz bottle into SN hop glass. Bottled 6/2/14.

A: Pours a clear light golden with a couple fingers of fluffy bright white head that slowly faded into a bubbly film.
S: Belgian yeast dominates. I get scents of black peppery, earth, and herbal, spicy hops. Hops are leafy and green.
T: Crisp notes of drying, peppery, and earthy yeast, slight bubblegum, slight tropical fruit. There a hint of citrus and pine as well. Pale malt is crackery and a bit bready. The finish is bitter but the aftertaste is sweet with tropical fruit nectars.
M: Medium-light body, soft and fluffy carbonation, slick and crisp mouthfeel.
O: Great clean flavors, very flavorful and complex yeast, and a refreshing mouthfeel. Drinks well.

Let's start with the nose... oh my God what a nose, floral and soapy as hell. It pours a clear bright golden color, with little to no head... but the nose drives it all. The taste takes a back seat, but it's still a damn good beer. I've seen a lot of people knocking this Beer Camp series, but most everything is flirting with an overall 4.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Duvel tulip. Bottled on 6/2/14 printed on label.

Appearance: Pours a clear medium straw gold with a 2 finger eggshell white head which dissipates fairly quickly leaving a 1/4 finger pool of white bubbles. Very little lacing.

Smell: Grains dominate with Belgian yeast, spices and just a touch of floral hops.

Taste: Much like the aroma, the first things you notice are the grains and Belgian yeast up front followed by a nice spiciness and a touch of floral hops in the middle before ending with a small amount of bitter earthy hops at the finish. Aftertaste is mildly bitter and spicy.

Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium-bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

Drinkability: Good drinkability. You could a couple of these without growing tired of it.

Overall: Solid beer overall. I'm glad I was able to try it.
