Caged/Corked
Poured into a Westy chalice a very nice dark brown color, very nice carbonation, with a pretty nice small light tan head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing. The nose is malty, with some chocolate/toffee notes, figs, raisins, cherries, plums, bourbon/oak, vanilla, roasty. The taste is really nice malty, with lots of dark stuff, the bourbon/oak is pretty much there, but pretty nicely done, some nice sweetness. Full body, ABV hidden pretty fairly well, a pretty complex brew, definitely a sipper, a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.
