On tap at BC's Pizza & Beer
A: Pours rich brown with a frothy khaki head that settles to a nice layer and laces well.
S: Surprisingly subdued nose, mild toasted wheat, spice, a bit fruity, a touch of smoke and chipotle, and a little sweetness.
T: Toasty bready malt, pineapple slowly comes out as it warms, touch of wheat, spice, clove, subtle chipotle , and caramel sweetness.
M: Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, a touch of pleasant warmth.
O: One of my go to watering holes collaborated to brew this as an anniversary beer so it's got a cool factor for me. That being said, I wasn't super sold on this one initially. It took some time for it to warm and the pineapple and chipotle to come out of hiding. I still wish those flavors popped a little more, but it is a nice drinker.
