Bigfoot appears as a russet hue in my glass with a very thin head. My bottle has been aged a bit I believe, but less than a year. There is still carbonation. The aroma is dominated by very sweet caramel, malts and figs. When sipping there is a multi-layered mouth feel which has a fruity, flowery impact at first, giving way to a very bitter and dry, hop finish. Slightly piny. I suspect that the hops have faded slightly going by other reviewers stating that it seems to have DIPA qualities. Ultimately, it's heavy every step of the way. Great brew for the winter!
