Fresh, fruity hop aroma. Pours with light to medium head. Medium-fine bubbles with very little lacing, stickiness or retention.
Nice golden color with unfiltered haziness, lots of particulate matter in suspension.
Well balanced between hops and malt, with a little bitterness in the middle of the palate and a fresh grass aftertaste. Bottle conditioning gives a smooth, integrated carbonation.
Good example of an American unfiltered pale ale. Very drinkable.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale reminds me of a less hoppy Dales Pale Ale (I compare every canned pale to this beer) or a can of Budweiser that actually tastes good and has flavor. It's a very drinkable beer and might be a good intro beer for someone who wants to try something hoppy or bitter without being overwhelmed.
