Poured a honey colored body with minimul head and a good amount of carbonation. The nose was treated with a plesent smell of hops and plenty of earthyness. The hops aromas seemed to selfishly hold on to the aroma as I did not pick up much of anything else. Taste however was lite on the hops but thicker on the earthy flavour that most APA's tend to give. Interesting and satisfying. Body was medium to lite which ran down the palate with a good amount of carbonation. Finish is clean and quickly disappears into the back of the mouth leaving a moist feeling.
A good pale ale by Sierra Nevada. Somehow I had always passed by this popular treasure but I am glad I finally tried it. Not my favorite of Pale Ale's, but can most definately have a seat next to the best.

A- orange-straw hue. 1 finger of head and good lace.
S- orange, sweet grain, honey
T- herbal and bitter citric hop flavor up front briefly give way to a bready/grainy sweetness, followed by a dry, lingering grapefruit bitterness with a touch of bready/honey sweetness in the background. Perfectly balanced bitterness to sweetness for the style.
M- very fine carbo that shows it's presence without compromising flavor.
O- I've been looking forward to having this beer in a can for a while and it does not disappoint! The cans look great and the contents taste especially vibrant and fresh!
