Golden to orange in color, perfectly clear with lots of carbonation. A one finger white head dissipates fairly quickly yet a white film persists around the rim till the beer is gone.
Citrus along with pine when I first open the bottle. As it warms I am able to pick up some sweeter malt and yeast aromas.
The flavor is citrus and pine though I can't determine which side of the hop coin it favors although both are present. The hops flavors are backed quite nicely by toasted malt. This has a nice balance between hops and malts. It finishes with some fruitiness which I'm guessing is coming from the yeast.
It's light to medium bodied. Starts crisp then follows with hop bitterness before it sweetens up and then leaves with a dry finish.
I love this beer and should be visiting it more often than I do. This is the one single beer that got me into better beer. It's an all time classic that I will continue to spring for!

look: 4.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: A vigorous pour into a pint glass leaves a 3/4" creamy head that dissipates slowly. Settles gold and clear with suitable carbonation evident.

Smell: Slightly malty with pleasant piney aroma.

Taste: Initial hop bitterness with floral overtones balances well to offset any malt sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Delivers a pleasing balance between crispness and creaminess in the mouth. Some lingering bitterness is present.

Overall: This is the APA I use as a yardstick to measure all others. SNPA is an excellent example of an American Pale Ale and this sample did not disappoint.

Served from bottle poured into a chilled glass at the place we were eating

Nice color and head when poured with small lacing and the smell was very pleasant , clean and crisp.

I loved this beer , could really taste the malt when first tasting then the hops came in at the end ,not overly bitter either

I liked this beer , had it with a cheese steak sandwich and it really went well with it. I will buy some and keep in the fridge
