12 oz bottle poured into a pilsner glass...

A- amber with fresh looking head and fair amount of carbination

S- citrus and fresh hops

T- very smooth with nice citrus and fruit beginning. pleasently hoppy with a nice dry finish. extremely drinkable with low enough ABV to be a session beer.

MF- pleasent effervescence and well balanced. Sierra Nevada Brewery has been making this classic for years and is, in my opinion, the finest example of an American Pale Ale out there. The gold standard of APA.

O- I visited this brewery in the late 80's and was blown away by this beer. Anyone who loves hops will find this beer pleasent. Always a good choice. Fairly widly available and affordable.

Drank out of a bottle. Small amount of head that lasts a while and pours thick. Tastes excellent--you can taste a bit of honey. It is nice, smooth and the carbonation is perfect. Tastes even better when ice cold.

Has a nice bitter after taste and really holds the flavor well. You will want to retain the flavor in your mouth.

The beer smells delicious and really makes you crave it. You can smell the freshness of the hops and that overall good flavor to it.

On the bottle, the beer prides itself on having all natural, fresh ingredients with no additives, and after drinking this beer you really do notice the overall freshness and goodness of it.

I highly enjoyed the beer, and regret having waited all this time to finally try it.
