24oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Light brownish orange with a one finger lingering head
S: Citrus hops, a bit of pine resin with a nice caramel/malt backbone
T: Similar to the nose- malty with nice baked bread/caramel, but also a citrus/pine hop kick. Very balanced between the two.
M: Crisp, smooth, medium-bodied
O: This set the standard for the style and is still one of the best. Very well made, easy and enjoyable to drink.

A: Poured a golden amber color with a bit of haze. One finger soapy white head, plenty of sticky lacing on the glass like with most SN beers.

S: Mostly citrus notes along with a bit of resiny pine, slight grapefruit and some floral notes as well. Touch of caramel malt sweetness which becomes more pronounced as it warms up.

T: Citrus and piney hops lend a bitterness in the beginning, some slight floral notes, followed by a malty sweetness to balance the flavor. Finishes clean and dry. Very well balanced

M: Crisp, smooth body, medium bodied, drinks nicely. Good session beer.

O Everything you want in an American pale. Quite simply, a style defining, genuine craft classic. Priced right and can be found anywhere from a giant liquor store to your local roadside gas station in the middle of nowhere.

Pours a clear gold color with a thick, foamy white head, good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is mostly of piney, citrusy hops with a bit of caramel malt undertone. Taste is initially faintly sweet, biscuit-like maltiness upfront; crisp, piney, grapefruit-like hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with a somehwat chewy mouthfeel. Good amount of carbonation.
