Had on tap into a pint glass.
Beer pours a nice rich brown color with a lighter brown head.
Beer smells slightly of roasted coffee, but not much in terms of smell.
Beer tastes very roasty. Hints of chocolate and espresso.
Moutfeel is fairly thick.
Overall, kind of a lackluster porter.

Appearance: Pours a very dark amber, almost like a soda. A white, two-finger head. Leaves a moderate amount of lacing in the glass.
Smell: A lot of rich malt, a hint of coffee. Dark fruit?
Taste: Like the smell, there is a lot of malt up front. I pick up a little bit of chocolate, but I'm mostly getting this lovely roasted malt flavor.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a slight amount of carbonation. Goes down very smooth.
Overall: I really enjoyed this beer. It's a very drinkable porter and a +1 for Sierra Nevada! This is definitely a beer I could enjoy for years to come.
