I poured this 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams glass.
A: bright light yellow color with one finger of creamy white head that quickly dissipates into a long-lasting lace.
S: above all a mildly funky lager yeast, hint of citrus, and not a lot of sweetness.
T: loads of bright acidity up front, that gives way to citrus, lemon, and finally the yeast that I first smelled: the yeast is only mildly funky and not fruity, the faintly grassy hops linger for a good long while, and thoroughly cleanse the palate.
M: abundant carbonation and a light body make this perfect for summer thirst quenching and washing down spicy foods.
D: This was a very enjoyable but not entirely memorable effort from SN. This is a great food beer, but not one I would seek out if I were just drinking.
