Almost forgot to pick this one up this year but I managed to grab a sixer. Pours a burnt orange color with a nice big white frothy head. The head reduces to about a one finger head, still kind of frothy, and leaves good lacing down the glass. Smell is very hoppy, kind of citrusy from what I'm gathering. Nothing to overpowering and it reminds me a bit of Sierra Nevadas other IPAs. At first I get some malt on the taste right away but it quickly goes away when the hops take over. Like the smell it's citrusy but also piney. It's not loaded with hops either which makes it quite nice and drinkable and not to bitter. I don't mind that in an IPA but it's nice to have one like this once in a while. Nothing sticks out in the mouthfeel, pretty typical. Overall I like this one a lot. Lower ABV and good taste. This is one of the first seasonals I ever had from Sierra Nevada and like their other seasonals I always look forward to them.
