Appearance - Pours a slightly cloudy reddish gold color. Lots of thick foamy off-white head on this one. Small head that sticks around until reaching the bottom of the glass. Tons of heavy lacing on the glass. I love it.
Smell - Very sweet citrusy hops. Grapefruit and orange comes to mind.
Taste - Pretty much how it smells. Hops are dominant, but are not necessarily overpowering. They are sweet, but not bitter. Perhaps a trace of malt can be detected as a backbone in this brew. Hops maintain their presence in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Mild carbonation. Slightly watery, but doesn't hinder it in any way.
Drinkability - Had no problem downing this one. Definitely a "drinker" as opposed to a "sipper". Could easily have a few of these in a sitting.
Overall a great success in my opinion by Sierra Nevada. Up there with the ESB as my favorite brew by them, although nothing from SN has yet to disappoint!
