A- This is a beautiful looking brew, such attractive lacing and a nice dark honey color it looks very good for the style
S- This has a very nice aroma to it, very piny and resinous hops, almost like the juniper berries in gin
T- Good bitter flavor with a nice depth from the spices and hops, it has a gin taste to it, maybe they used juniper berries? Certainly a good beer, however minus the american hops this beer is a dime a dozen in England.
M- Thank you, one of the few American made non-stout brews with low carbonation, this is an important part of the style of a pub bitter, and something that even some craft enthusiasts can't give up. It is important that bitters have a low carbonation as they are not intended to give you that soda pop feeling, it is to give the beer a different body, not to tear your tongue a new one. The body is medium which is also good, this is my favorite aspect of this beer.
D- While it is a good tasting beer, and a style that is hard to find (properly at least) in this country at a decent price, and they got the carbonation right, the gin flavor is starting to wear on me.
