Went a little over the top today at the store and was in a SN mood with the good weather. Got packs of this, Torpedo and the Pale Ale.
12oz bottle poured into Dogfish shaped pint glass.
Bottle Graphics: 4/10
A: Orange amber with a light filmy foam on top, not too much but super lacing.
S: Sweet malts and adjacent hops. Bready and toasty like a red or amber ale. Modest yet flavorful aroma.
T: Slightly more hops and bitterness than the aroma leads. Relatively crisp flavor with the breadiness coming to the front. Whatever style it is, I would like the hops to come more on the balanced edge, I have to seek them out in the taste as I drink through it. Slightly too much sweetness.
M: Moderate mouthfeel in all ways. Tight and crisp.
D: Pretty high, pleasure to have with a bag of chips or walking down the Vegas strip. Mild enough to go down like water. Not SN's best, but still tasty.
