Finally tracked a bottle of this down after several months and immediately cracked it open after chilling it for a bit as I know it should've been drunk a few months ago.
Pours as a hazy copper color with a nice white head that retains very well. Laces decently. Overall, nice impression.
Smell is a bit sour with a touch of hops.
Taste is a bit "soapy", a bit bitter, and hoppy. Overall, it's an average special bitter flavor mixed with the standard SN flavor - which means it's a bit above average but not by much.
Mouthfeel is creamy with some head and finishes clean. Very glad about that clean finish. No aftertaste.
Drinkability is excellent. Could pound these back, even at the 5.9% ABV, but I wish it was easier for me to find. I'd definitely buy more of these as it's better than the Anniversary Ale in my view.
