Pours from a bottle with a frothy cap of spumescent ivory cap over a golden copper hue leaving a thick residue coating of lace.
Nose has a fresh hop scent that reminds me a lot of home brewing when you grab the hops.
First swigs: Creamy soft vanilla pecan ice cream. Dry grassy finish. Middle of nutty malt. Firm and buttery.
Feel is sudsy and medium bodied. Clean finish.
Last swigs: Rumor has it that these hops were held up at the Tijuana Border (kidding) for three days before they entered the US. Patrick gave me a taste of this also at Vidalia Market 06/13/08.
Beer is good. Happy hoppy beering.
