Appearance - Hazy yellow. The head is a good finger width, but retention is poor and the lace is sparse.
Smell - Mostly wheat and banana. A bit of yeast catches the nose.
Taste - Starts sweet with faint clove notes playing behind an undertone of wheat and banana; sweet with a touch of spice. Finishes with a subtle, clean wheat flavor and a soft bitter hop.
Mouthfeel - Nice body. Refreshing. A fair amount of carbonation bites the tongue before gliding down the throat and into the esophagus.
Overall - This is by far my favorite Sierra Nevada beer. Not quite as deep and complex as some of the top hefs in the world, but it's a damn good one in and of itself. I've noticed some inconsistencies from time to time; sometimes it's more flavorful, othertimes a little bland; usually more hit than miss. Reviewed an old bottle; candidate for a re-review.

Feb 2014 - From Bottle. Ever pleasant even from a 12 Fl. bottle. Remember to chase the bottom with a swirl.
Spring 2013. On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Spring is in the air & this really pleasant drink goes down very easily. Great, great balance in all the right places.
Nov 2012. On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Back in Nov. Still slightly out of season, but this time the body feels more in tune w/the climate. Nice delicate citrus tang.
02/21/12. On tap at Rattle n Hum, NYC. Good body, great balance but a tad heavy for a session.
