2011 Glissade poured from a 12 fl oz bottle.
Appearance: Golden to yellow, best I can think of is apple juice colored. Big soap-bubbled head that is receding ever so slowly.
Smell: Smells of a malty Euro lager. Very dry.
Taste: Again, I taste a malty Euro lager. Not what I was expecting from a bock beer (which usually taste sweeter to me). Maybe a strong pale lager?
Mouthfeel: It is heavy. Virtually no prickly carbonation. Somehow, I think this would be better with some more carbonation.
Drinkability: Decent at 6.4% ABV. It goes down smooth enough.
Overall: One of the first SN beers I've tried that I haven't really been impressed with. I guess I'm used to their hoppier (and tastier!) pale ales and IPAs at this point and this just seems a little boring.
