Traded some beer with a friend for this and never had it before. Sure, spring's here, and I was interested to see how this tasted and how well this fit into the season. Although it's not a bad beer, Sierra Nevada missed a bit with this and will always be known for the smooth, buttery hops that I've associated a lot of their beers with. That being said, this won't be bad to have once it's time to start cutting the grass on a warm day!
The pour was alright for this - a nice head, no lacing, and a solid golden hue could all be seen. This reminded me a bit of the Victory Sapphire Edelbock - Saaz-like hops, crisp, and floral, but this had just a hint of honey or mead in it. A bit sour too, but nothing strong or overbearing. This went down pretty easily and didn't have anything outstanding going for it.
That being said, a few of these would sneak up on you since the ABV% is a bit stronger than the taste would indicate. I much prefer darker Bocks with a bit more body to them but for a spring beer, this isn't a bad choice. An average mouthfeel and a decent, if slightly strong aftertaste, combine with everything else to make this a beer that will suit most peoples tastes during easygoing times.

This is a real pretty beer, both when being made and the final product. Dark yellow, big 1" head white. The aroma is pretty neutral.
Taste still leans hoppy for style true to form for Sierra Nevada, this one drops plenty of wheat and barley, lemon like feels. Lots of pleasantries for someone who doesn't like the over bittering hopping, this one has it above average for style, but stays in check otherwise. Definite breadiness. Hearty carbonation. Has a dry and almost chalk like finish after a full mouthfeel gamut of bread feels.
