Pours a clear golden color, with an extremely low carbonation. An aggressive pour produces an overflowing head, all over my floor. White in color with great retention, it leaves tons of lacing. Good looking lager.
The nose is full of pale malt, very light and subtle. To be honest, there isn't a whole lot going on here, and reminds me of some adjuncts.
The taste, while subtle, has more complexity than the nose leads on. Fruity malts with a light bitterness. Just enough flavor to keep you coming back for more.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with a smooth feel with a light carbonation bite. Drinkability is pretty good. I had this pegged for a session brew but didn't realize it was 6.4$ ABV until just now.
Overall, I think this could be a good cross-over beer into craft beer. Sierra Nevada seems to be good at that type of thing.
