Poured into a pint glass...
Extremely bright golden body topped by a foamy two finger head, that drops to a patchy coating in a few minutes.
European malts in the aroma - mostly a soft maltiness, but a bit grainy. Even the smell has a crispness to it. A light touch of grassy, floral hops. The slightest hint of alcohol at the very end.
Starts slightly sweet with honey flavors and a little malty, but with a definite crispness. Spicy hops come in mid-palate and tingle your tongue, again with some grassiness and floral character playing secondary roles. Bitterness comes in right on the finish with some bite, then lingers. Bordering astringency in the aftertaste. Fruity undertones from start to finish. Medium carbonation, good for the style. As Sierra Nevada says, this is a drinker, despite the ABV.
