Quick Review - golden and bocky. Sort of like Sierra Nevada Extra Gold or Sierra Nevada Genuine Draft...
Appearance - golden honey, crystal clear. It poured with a 3/4" head that quickly dissipated. In my New Belgium globe glass, I get continuous nucleation.
Smell - light malt and hops. Not a whole lot going on in the nose.
Taste - more in the taste than on the nose. This beer actually reminds me of a BMC lagers of some sort. It's a bit edgier than I expected, almost acidic to me. As it warms, I get more and more bitterness (bittering hops), while I was hoping for more malt.
Mouthfeel - medium thick in the mouth, rather smooth after you get past the acidity.
If you like this beer, it's surely sessionable. With a few tweaks, this would be a great fishing beer.
