A 350ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2012. Purchased at my favourite local beer specialist.
Poured into a Sam Smith's pint glass. A pale golden hue with low carbonation and a faint haziness. Produces a huge head of white foam following a hard pour, but this reduces and disappears entirely after a few minutes. Aroma of light malt with a hint of grain and distinct aromatic hops. Alcohol is also discernible.
Tastes of light malt with a slight grainy sweetness. Nicely balanced with crisp aromatic hops; citrus notes dominate. No real bitterness - the hops are all aroma. The alcohol adds a warming solvent note. Mouthfeel is smooth and slick, but it feels rather flat. Aftertaste of sweet malt and aromatic hops.
A decent beer, but lacking in carbonation - I think it would have tasted better otherwise. Perhaps something happened to the bottle. I also suspect this bock is rather hoppier than a German example, but I haven't tried many. A bit sweet for my taste, but would go down nicely on a warm spring day.

This is a real pretty beer, both when being made and the final product. Dark yellow, big 1" head white. The aroma is pretty neutral.
Taste still leans hoppy for style true to form for Sierra Nevada, this one drops plenty of wheat and barley, lemon like feels. Lots of pleasantries for someone who doesn't like the over bittering hopping, this one has it above average for style, but stays in check otherwise. Definite breadiness. Hearty carbonation. Has a dry and almost chalk like finish after a full mouthfeel gamut of bread feels.
