Poured into a pint glass. Pours clear orange copper with a tall, white head. The head dissipates very slowly, leaving plenty of sticky lacing on the side of the glass. There are some tiny bubbles that can be seen rising from the bottom of the glass. The aroma of citrus, sweet malts, and resinous piney hops come through. The alcohol is not detectable in the aroma. The flavors are very bright and juicy. The citrus and pine flavors are intense and the sweet malt provides a strong, yet subtle backbone for this beer. The alcohol is not detectable in the taste, but it can certainly be felt. There is hop bitterness in the very back end, but it's mostly confined to the aftertaste. The body is medium to full with adequate carbonation. The beer is smooth with a dry, yet sticky finish that provides a pleasant aftertaste. This is highly drinkable for such a big beer. Overall, this is an excellent beer and a great example of a DIPA.

Pours a brilliant, glowing amber color with a small white foam head that recedes quickly. Leaves a little bit of lacing. Surprisingly murky.
Nose leads with floral notes and citrus, and lots of hops. Grapefruit and pine are noticeable.
Oy. This one punches you right in the face with the hops. Followed up by some light caramel malts. Light grassiness and floral notes. Pine resin. Grapefruit. Good deal of bitterness, and a bit of alcohol warmth.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. A little dry. Slightly sticky, but still goes down pretty smooth for such a hoppy brew. Medium carbonation.
Overall, as implied by the name, this one is very hoppy. Surprisingly easy to drink. Strongly recommend this one.
