A 12oz bottle with a bottling date of March 2013 (if I've read it correctly). Picked up recently from Trembling Madness in York. The label describes it as a 100 IBU monster IPA. The artwork is great...
Poured into a Duvel tulip. A clear sunset-amber hue with light carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a frothy surface layer. Some lacing. Aroma of exquisitely concentrated hops with notes of pine resin and cannabis. This is underpinned by a layer of sweet caramel malt and hints of earthy yeast, stewed hops and warming booze. This brew packs a punch.
Tastes of intense, resinous hops with a powerful bitter finish. Notes of pine resin, weed, caramel malt, mild barley sugar, subtle ale yeast and stewed hops. A twinge of alcohol in the background. Quite sweet but highly astringent - a maelstrom of hop oils tearing up your palate followed by a rampaging bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and spicy, with good body but lacklustre carbonation. Dries the mouth thoroughly. Aftertaste of aromatic pine/weed, bitterness and sweet malt.
Hops! Oh yes, by the truckload. This brew looks alright, but the aroma and flavour are where it really comes into its own. Being buried under a hop avalanche is an apt description of the experience. Intensely bitter yet balanced by a large malt bill. Decent body, though I wish the carbonation was more abundant to add texture. I'm also unsure whether this is bottle-conditioned, as there was no sediment in mine. However, minor criticisms aside this is a hop-head's delight. Well worth trying if you have the chance.

This one pours a nicely cloud high karat gold color with a light tan head that is moderate height but thick, long lived and pillowy settling to bread like bubbles and leaving strong lacing.
The nose is a nicely done hop sensation with a busy mix of floral to fruits and woody all mixing together with some grass and pine. The smell is actually bitter in the finish.
The taste is a kick in the balls hop experience. There is some hint of malt but it is readily squashed by the maximum powered hops. This is incredibly bitter, as one would expect. The hops are buttery, grassy, pine and lots of camphor. There is a medicine flavored finish to it that really strips your palate of a few layers of skin.
It is an experiment that I find interesting as it pushes hops to the absolute max. This one is a great tool to help level set a palate of an extreme.
The moutfeel is rather rich and helps the insane amount of hops assault every square millimeter of your palate.
Overall this is better as an educating beer and for palate training. Other than that I would rate this as generally undrinkable in a pleasurable sense.
I feel like data after his emotion chip activating and he tried the "revolting" alcoholic beverage.

Pours a dense, white head that laces well. Aroma bursts from this one; citric with a floral backing that is reminiscent of honey. Hazy, straw color. Starts with aggressive, rich hop resin. Lots of notes of pine and grapefruit. Builds into a nice, aggressive bitterness that tastes of citrus rind. Lingering citrus rind bitterness with a touch of sweet malt.
This is really nice. It's quite assertively hopped, but it really keeps the lingering bitterness in check, which I quite enjoy. This is the 2013, so I think the year or so of aging has mellowed this quite nicely.
