Bottled 5/2/14, poured into a tulip
A- pours a bright deep golden color with a small creamy white head that retains a small layer, leaving some short lasting lace behind
S- sharp piney hops with some citrus rind, slightly danky and grassy, sugary and bready malt backbone
T- loads of piney, floral, citrus and tropical fruity hops attacks the palate up front, super sweet malt kicks in mid-palate to stand up to the hops, sugary finish with a big linger of piney hops
M- heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a syrupy mouthfeel and a thick and creamy finish, with some alcohol warmth on the linger
O- a palate wrecker big big sweet malty notes to back up the huge hops, the only down side is that I usually like a cleaner DIPA, not a sweet and malty, still a great beer

This one pours a nicely cloud high karat gold color with a light tan head that is moderate height but thick, long lived and pillowy settling to bread like bubbles and leaving strong lacing.
The nose is a nicely done hop sensation with a busy mix of floral to fruits and woody all mixing together with some grass and pine. The smell is actually bitter in the finish.
The taste is a kick in the balls hop experience. There is some hint of malt but it is readily squashed by the maximum powered hops. This is incredibly bitter, as one would expect. The hops are buttery, grassy, pine and lots of camphor. There is a medicine flavored finish to it that really strips your palate of a few layers of skin.
It is an experiment that I find interesting as it pushes hops to the absolute max. This one is a great tool to help level set a palate of an extreme.
The moutfeel is rather rich and helps the insane amount of hops assault every square millimeter of your palate.
Overall this is better as an educating beer and for palate training. Other than that I would rate this as generally undrinkable in a pleasurable sense.
I feel like data after his emotion chip activating and he tried the "revolting" alcoholic beverage.
