Let me just say, this could be my favorite label I've ran into yet in a beer. Moving on...
Look: Massive four finger brownish/white shaving cream head, great retention, deep reddish/brown (about a 28 SRM), very nice lacing, lots of little carb bubbles.
Smell: Nice medium roasted malt forward, floral hop back, light coffee notes, light smoky, burnt sugar, earthy/wet wood.
Taste: Clean medium malt, floral hop returns, fire roasted nuts (has a slight smoky nuttiness), a floral bitter finish that has coffee undertones to it, a little light on body, carb is on point. It's very balanced for a brown.
Final Thoughts: A really great brew for fall. It's a pretty perfect standby for the season. I very much enjoyed and will be returning to this one.
