Poured from a bomber into a pint glass. No obvious best before date on the bottle. (It's this year's model).

A - amber, very slightly cloudy, big fluffy white head that melts away leaving spiderweb lacing around the glass

S - wet grassy hops, slight astringent in the background with just a hint of skunkiness

T - nicely balanced with solid initial hops bitterness, some tea leaf/grass, and backed with citrus and spice. Just enough malt profile to put it all together, but the citrus rind at the back of the throat is the biggest part of the finish

M - tingles at the front of the tongue with a burst of carbonation and then disappears; fairly light body

D - really drinkable, and a beer for many occasions; can see this working both as a summer quencher and a fall/winter warmer

Very solid beer; not exceptional in any dimension, but very well balanced. Big hops, but not overpowering. Good all-rounder.

1pt. 9.4 fl. oz's. bottle with green wax cover

Amber and gold color, bright and clear look. A massive, chunky mountain of sea-foam caps off the liquid in grand style. wicked sticky, clumpy lace sticks all around the glass.

Robust, complex hop aroma! Citrus tingle, earthiness, tangy, wild, fresh and exciting. Malty-sweet in the back ground.

Well, it's a wet-hop bomb! Fresh, complex hop flavor's, some of the very best i'e ever experienced. These guys are the masters of the cascade hop, and as usual the blend and balance of flavor's is a work of art. Organic barley, malt and hops, wet-hopped, ultra fresh in flavor. Sublime.

This beer really brings it in the hop department. A masterful work of one of the grandest, American styles, the IPA.

I absolutely love sierra Nevada and was excited about this being one of their special brews.

A: poured straight out of the bottle into a tulip. This beer looks very nice. It's a murky dark orange with about a finger of white head.

S: hops, malt and some spices. Not too much going on in the nose.

T: very hoppy as one would expect with a slightly sweet malt backbone. This beer is actually very refreshing. Leaves a nice bitter coating on the back of the pallet.

M: medium bodied on the lighter side. with light carbonation.

Overall: one of my favorite beers from sierra Nevada they did a fantastic job with this brew 10/10 would bang.

i love sierra nevada they brew really great beers. i was surprised to come across this brew.

the bottle comes with a thick green wax layer over the cap to ensure total freshness

murky burnt orange in color with a finger ov white head leaves minor lacing along glass.

very slight citrus smell.

probably one of the freshest beers iv ever tasted. a very hoppy yet smooth backbone a slight sweetness from malts through out. and a strong bitterness left on the pallet.

a little runny and slightly sticky very fine carbonation

overall a very nice brew. im looking forward to getting ahold ov there DevESTATEtion even more now.
