Pours a lighter shade of amber with a thick and frothy beige head that leaves impressive lacing. The aroma is grainy initially, with a big citrusy and piney background, along with some caramel and orange marmalade, fruity esters, some chalk and a hint of alcohol. The flavor has big grassy hops and grainy malts upfront, along with some citrusy and piney hops, caramel and orange marmalade, chalkiness, fruity esters and some alcohol. The mouthfeel is a bit on the thick side and drinkability is good. Pretty tasty effort from SN, and the grassy and grainy notes separate it a bit from the pack of hoppy SN beers.

Cracked this open on a wonderful summer night a few days back! Golden, Hoppy, Fresh, perfectly balanced! Foamy, creamy head! Year 2011. Aging in my fridge. Loved drinking, but sad, I will not be able to find this beer again. It was perfect! If I find this beer, anywhere, it will go home with me! Even, my friend liked it and he is a stout man.
