Pours one finger light amber foamy head, great retention and thick, sticky lacing. Somewhat cloudy and darker orange, with some reddish amber. Beautiful aroma. Very floral, with some citrus peel zest and hints of tropical fruits. Bitter pine upfront on tongue, followed by hints of grapefruit and pineapple, notes of lemon. Syrupy mouthfeel, slight chewiness, medium-full bodied, and carbonation creates a creamy foam feel. Aftertaste doesn't last more than 15 seconds or so, and leaves a drying touch. Overall, I'm pleased with this organic, wet-hop creation from one of my favorite breweries. The balance is nice, and tastes like an IPA I would expect from SN. I have no real negative criticism, except for a certain lacking in aftertaste. Great job on a very tasty brew.

If my neighbor made this I'd nicely tell him it's good. Unfortunately Sierra Nevada made it, and it's not so good. Overly malty and very muddled, competing flavors. Snobs would describe it as nuanced. I'd say it's mediocre and unbalanced.
