I poured this beer from a 24oz bottle into a 20oz imperial pint glass.
Appearance: This beer looks amazing. It yielded a nice 2 finger creamy pale colored head with very good lacing that stayed for a long time. It was a beautiful amber color with a slight hazy appearance.
Smell: This beer smells awesome. It has very floral hops aromas with hints of citris. I expected a very hoppy tasting beer from the smell as it was absolutley beautiful smelling.
Taste: Not as hoppy as I expected from the smell but it definately had a strong hops pressence. The adding of the fresh wet hops gave it a fresher taste than other hoppy beers . The hops stay for a reasonable amount of time but do not make you pucker up like some other heavily hopped beers. I drank the whole bottle and would have liked another.
Mouthfeel: Medium body mouth feel. Its almost got the consistancy of a lighter style porter, or similar to a smithwicks.
Drinkablility: Its definately a delicious beer. Its not too heavy to have the whole thing or even a few of these bad boys, but its definately not light or smooth enough to pound. Its a good beer in my opinion to cycle or session with a few other good ones on a tasting night.
Overall this is going to be one of my go to beers on a crafty night. I'd reccommend this to anyone who loves hops but is in the mood for something besides in your face knock you on your butt hops kick while still giving you your hops fix for the night
