On-Tap @ Zembies in HBG, PA...
A: Orange/amber in color with a massive pillow-like head. Excellent head retention with nice sticky lacing the whole way down the inside of the glass.
S: A strong citrus smell along with some notes of pine and grass. A little bit of malt in there as well. I must say I was slightly disappointed with the aroma characteristics in this brew. I think I was expecting a more complex density of hops. Nothing spectacular here, just solid hop aromas.
T: Lots of citrus flavor, some spice, and just enough of the malts to give this beer some balance. A long bitter hop hang and a fairly dry finish.
M: An almost perfect feel for an APA. Medium carbonation with a moderately viscous full body.
D: A nice drinking APA with a moderate ABV.
This reminded me of SN Pale Ale with a bolder hop presence and less hop/malt balance. Good beer!
