On tap in a 20 oz. serving.
A - slightly hazy amber, deep straw golden. Head is massive, thick, rocky, and slightly off-white. Retention and lacing is outstanding.
S- strong aroma of piney hops. Smells like your sitting there sniffing a fresh hop cone. Hops dominate the aroma, but there are some toffee-ish, caramel malt notes there.
T - taste mirrors the aroma. Like sucking on a fresh hop cone, but hop flavor is predominant over hop bitterness which is nice. Strong hop flavor of citrus, pine, mint. Very strong, resinous hop flavor. Some malt here - toffee, grains, slight roast. Tasty, tasty.
M - nice mix of hoppy dryness mixed with sticky hop resin.
D - darn tasty beer and something I wouldn't mind drinking year round. Great example of what a brewer can do with a lot of hops -- without making the beer so syrupy and bitter that you can hardly drink it (e.g., Stone).
