A - Nice big frothy off white head that lasts quite a while. Great lacing. Reddish amber color for the beer.
I seem to remember this being a little more bitter last year but that may just be my taste buds getting used to the constant barrage of bitter hoppiness I keep throwing their way.
S - Sweet smelling, caramel and toffee malt smell. Hop aroma is floral and orange citrus.
T - Well balanced AIPA. Mildly bitter, not too aggressive. In taste the hops have a nice spicy pine aspect to them. Other than this it very much backs up the smell with the caramel/toffee flavor of the malts. Perhaps a slight toasty thing going on. Nice citrus juiciness.
M - medium bodied, very smooth, carbonation not harsh at all.
D - Very easy drinker. 24 oz felt more like 12. Well balanced and approachable. Another quality effort by SN. Not quite as good as Southern Hemisphere or Chico (my favorite) but still very good.
