Pours a crystal clear amber with two fingers of cake like light tan head. Great retention and swaths of sticky lace ring the glass. What a gorgeous beer.
Scent is fresh bread and dough with floral and grassy hops.
Taste is again fresh bread and dough. Floral and citrus hops. Leafy fresh hops. Orange and grapefruit. Juicy hop oil. A touch of caramel. The hop profile, though juicy and delicious, seems understated and subtle.
Mouth is big and slick.
Drinkability is wonderful.
I've come to love wet hop ales. The juicy oily fresh flavor and the slipper, slick mouth feel are fantastic. This is, as expected, a tasty example of a style I love.
