Purchased at Tyler's Taproon in Durham, NC-via shaker pint. Glowing warm orangy-red color, and pretty, white sticky head. Nice lace sheets dance around my glass. Aroma is mouth-wateringly fresh. Smell is full of delicious candy-like citrus, cascade hops (among others). The wet hopping is apparent in this very delightful beer. Not to mention delicious hoppy burps follow. Although this is one substantially hoppy beer it is quite well malted too, both in the nose and taste. There is a subtly balanced smoothness to it and a great fine grittiness to the texture. Awesome and I wish I could get this in stores. Looks like I'm going to be searching for the fresh/wet hopped beers during the Fall season from now on, in opposition to the traditional Oktoberfest style beers. Drinkability is the best.
Great beer. Go find it before you miss out.
