Pours a dark amber with a red tint. The head is an absolute monster. Semi aggressive pour produces a topping of foam that just will not go away. When it finally recedes a little, it leaves that biscuit of condensed bubbles floating on the top.
Taste is very good, with a hint of greeny, grassy freshness from the wet hops. Nice bitterness and overall a good flavor. Has an earthiness to it, with a hint of spice, along with orange peel.
The emphasis of this stuff is the fresh hops. There is a quality there you don't get from a regular IPA.
Very drinkable stuff. I wish I could get more.
