Nice pour here at the Union Brewhouse.
Good Head retention and Belgian lace to the very bottom. Light copper in color which caught my eye amongst the pale runny yellows of the summer beers.
Would have liked more hoppy aroma, but I always do. citrus and spicy comes through along with a little pine.
Overall the taste is spicy and slightly sweet. Really holds together well. I just ordered my third so that should count as a big 'like'. A bit bitter for what I usually like, but the spicy/earthy/citrus flavor underneath make it really good. the bitter hits the tongue up front and then the other flavors follow.
Its a good earthy/spicy mouthful with a backbone of malt to back it up w/o being filling.
